The Erasmus+ project, Floorball: Fit for Future (4F) continued in Copenhagen in the end of February. Due to the pandemic the start of the project was slightly delayed and the first live meeting was held in October 2021 in Prague. In the second live meeting, the project took the next steps.

Czech Floorball is leading the project and the working group has representation from Denmark, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the IFF. The aim is to build a handbook of how to eventually create and build an association.

— The workload is quite vast, but I really like the atmosphere in the group and even though the participants come from associations which are in a different development level, the ideas and the way to proceed is still the same. We share the same view of the project, naturally with different aspects, but the result of the project will be outstanding, says Mr. Veli Halonen, the IFF Operations Manager, who represents the IFF in the project.

The working group is at the time concentrating on building a maturity matrix model for different levels of development of the association and the work is ongoing all the time.

— We just realised during the weekend how vast the work will be, but I think that it rather motivated us all even more, Halonen adds.

The next meeting will take place in mid-June in Slovakia.
