USA

What has changed in women’s floorball in your country since the last WFC in 2019?

USA floorball, in general, has continued to grow since the previous WFC with the creation of various committees and regional directors by the US Floorball Association Board. These groups within the organization have been working on grassroots efforts, membership and national team development among other focuses. With this development the women´s team has been able to recruit new players and spread awareness for the sport.

Describe your team. What should we expect from your team during WFC 2021?

We are a team on and off the court. We are lead by some of our veterans and driven by our young and talented players who bring a lot of energy to our roster. Our mindset is to take one game at the time, do our best and try to improve from the last WFC.

DENMARK

What has changed in women’s floorball in your country since the last WFC in 2019?

We have a U19 women’s national team. We have seen a positive development of girls playing floorball in Denmark, and we are proud to have the youth national team back in playing international tournaments. This will effect our A-team in the future, by new young players, who already have international experience.

Describe your team. What should we expect from your team during WFC 2021?

Team Denmark is a organized, passing and positioning team. We relay on a strong defensive structure and aggressive play style combined with direct offensive focus. We are a young group, with a good balance between young talented players and strong experienced players.

Thailand

What has changed in women’s floorball in your country since the last WFC in 2019?

Like all other countries, Floorball in Thailand has abruptly hit the breaks when the pandemic started. Due to the slow reaction of the country, it has also made it extremly slow to restart our daily lives, which includes, playing floorball.

Describe your team. What should we expect from your team during WFC 2021?

It has been a challenge to get the team together, with our usual model of working with Europe based players and Thailand based players, international travel is pretty much impossible. It will be a mix of players both old and new, but for our youth group, we hope that this will be a good experience for the newer players who have yet to compete at this level.

The staff is new, as well as the way of working and playing. A lot of focus is put on making players and staff more professional.

Describe your team. What should we expect from your team during WFC 2021?

It’s a very young team, which needs to acquire international experience. It will be very important to interpret the matches in the right way, play according to our game plan and aim at having a positive result in every match.
