The Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships 2022 European qualification will be held in Saku, Estonia from 8th to 11th of September 2021. Two teams will qualify to the final round.
Estonia, Denmark, Hungary and Italy will play in Saku for a spot in the U19 WFC 2022 final round in New Zealand.
Hungary
Team Hungary consists of 17 enthusiastic girls who are working for the same goal. They aim to bring their best game to Estonia, learn a lot and participate in next year’s World Championships.
Players to follow:
Nóra Lelovics
She has been an outstanding player in the Hungarian championship in recent years. Dynamic, technical player. Does not know a lost game.
Jázmin Kajtár
Despite her small stature, she can see well on the field, makes accurate passes to her teammates and doesn’t get confused in front of the goal. This will be her first IFF Event.
Anna Zsiborács
A goalkeeper with great reflexes who does everything to improve. She brings calmness to the team with her good performances. This will be her first IFF Event.
Italy
Very united and compact team, with excellent character that makes the group its strong point. The girls have set themselves the goal of never giving up.
Players to follow:
Roberta Olshov
The captain of the team, a very experienced forward with good vision of the game. She played in the Women’s U19 WFCQ 2020.
Ola Qasho
At her first qualification, she is a very physical defender with good running and excellent playing technique.
Marta Pelliccioni
First qualification for her too, she is a very capable forward with an excellent shot and individual technique.
Denmark
A team with players who work hard and are constantly evolving. The unity is strong.
Players to follow:
Jeannie Mønsted
One of Team Denmark’s talented goalkeepers, who is confident and calm in the goal.
Anna Habersatter
A strong player with a good overview, who also makes her teammates play well.
Cecilie Crolly
A talented forward who creates a lot chances on her own.
Estonia
They are the first-timers, so they don’t have much experience yet. It’s still home tournament, so their aim is to qualify with good defence and goalkeeping.
Players to follow:
Saskia Ormak
As a women’s national team number one goalkeeper, she is definitely a key player in Estonian U19 team. She’s very talented and has good athletic attitude.
Reelika Liiv
She has been training with the women’s team in several training camps and is one of key defenders. She has a good chance to earn her place in the Estonian national team in WFC 2021 too.
Liis Lokk
She has taken a leader role during the training camps on and off the field. The team is hoping she can lead the girls into good results.
