Ms. Anna Jacobson has been hired as the Anti-Doping Contact and Mr. Juerg Kihm as the Information & Anti-Doping Coordinator during Ms. Merita Bruun’s maternity leave.
Ms. Anna Jacobson works part-time for the IFF. She is the Head of Communications for the International World Games Association. In her earlier working career Ms. Jacobson has gained strong know-how in anti-doping work when managing the anti-doping work of the International Orienteering Federation for seven years and two years for the IFF. Her long history within the anti-doping history inspires her to really take on this job:
– I am really excited about this opportunity to work with anti-doping again. I look forward to working for a federation that I know functions well and for a dynamic sport that I have seen growing rapidly throughout the years.
As the IFF Anti-Doping Contact, Ms. Jacobson will be in charge of Doping Controls, Whereabouts, Testing Pools and Results Management.
Mr. Juerg Kihm will work part-time for the IFF as well. He will be part of the IFF communications team, but also have some event related anti-doping tasks, such as TUEs and anti-doping education. He has gained previous experience working for the IFF as a WFC-volunteer for the IFF office during the last eight years. Additionally, he is working in his own company which he founded four years ago. Furthermore, Mr. Kihm has been coaching for more than 30 years in Australia, New Zealand and Switzerland.
– I am looking forward to working daily with all the persons, partners, associations and task I got to know over the last few years. Moreover, I also would be very happy to be able to share news from the upcoming events which hopefully can will take place again, Mr. Kihm states.
