The first international matches of 2021 are planned to take place on the 27th and 28th of May when Italy and France will play three Women’s internationals during the Women’s Triple Challenge event at the Bella Italia EFA Village, in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy.
These are the first international floorball matches being played since September 2020 (due to the Covid-19 pandemic). Two of the matches are streamed live on the IFF YouTube channel! These matches will also be broadcast on the Italian Television by MS Channel.

Simone Baratin takes over as head coach
After more than 10 years and five World Floorball Championships Qualifications, Giorgio Battaini has decided to step down as Head Coach of the Italian Women’s national team. The Women’s Triple Challenge against France will be the first time that the “Azzurre” play under the guidance of the new Head Coach, Simone Baratin.
