The first national floorball coaching seminars of the year were organised by the China Floorball Union (CFU). The seminars were successfully held in Shanghai and Beijing. 37 participants from Shanghai and the neighbouring cities attended the first seminar and 20 participants attended the second seminar in Beijing.
The national basic coach seminar in Shanghai was organised 25th – 28th of March. The three day event was organised by China Hockey Association (CHA), co-organised by Donghua University and Shanghai University Student Sports Center, and undertaken by Sport 100 (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.
– CFU aims to build a broader platform for coaches and wished a lot of success for the training sessions, Mr. Zhu Jianghua said.
During this seminar, the lecturer Mr. Guo Xueqi introduced the floorball history, project characteristics, basic rules, techniques and basic training methods. After three days of systematic study, 37 students all passed the theoretical and practical assessment and obtained the CFU basic coach of floorball certificate.
– The success of this coaching seminar is a good start for 2021. Under the leadership and efforts of CFU, the development of Chinese floorball will see rapid development, said Mr Guo Xueqi, Head of CFU Department of Event and Referee.
Mr. Zhu Jianghua, Vice president of CFU, Mr. Guo Xueqi, Head of CFU Department of Event and Referee and Mr. Li Ji, Head of CFU Department of Equipment were invited to the opening ceremony. At the ceremony, Mr. Zhu Jianghua welcome all the trainees, gave a detailed introduction to CFU’s competition, training course and activity plan.
Second coaching seminar in Beijing
The second national basic coach seminar was held in Beijing Daxing Sports Center. The four day event was organised by China Hockey Association (CHA), co-organised by Beijing Hockey Association, and undertaken by Aoshi Zhongti (Beijing) Sports Management Co., Ltd.
Guests participating in the opening ceremony of the seminar: Liu Dongwei, President of China Floorball Union(CFU), Xu Zhenxiang, President of Beijing Hockey Association, Guo Xueqi, Head of Event & Referee Department of CFU, Wangbin: General manager of the Aoshi Zhongti (Beijing) Sports Management Co., Ltd.
At the opening ceremony, Mr.Liu Dongwei and Mr. Xu Zhenxiang expressed their welcome to the trainees, introduced the promotion and development of floorball in both China and the world. He hoped that the trainees could obtain the coach qualification certificates.
– I hope the students can strictly abide by the training requirements, and hope to complete the training plan carefully under the leadership of lecturer Mr. Guo Xueqi and be a qualified coach, said Mr. Wangbin.
