The Men’s play-off pairs of the Swedish Super League (SSL) have been decided and the first quarter-final matches will be played on the 18th and 19th of March.
The teams placed 1-4 meet the teams placed 5-8 in the quarter-finals (best of seven). The quarter-final pairs have now been elected and the first placed team in the regular season got to choose their opponent first.
Quarter-final pairs (regular season ranking):
Storvreta (1) – Växjö (6)
Kalmarsund (2) – Linköping (8)
Falun (3) – Helsingborg (7)
Mullsjö (4) – Dalen (5)
The teams that win the quarter-finals will advance to the semi-finals (best of seven). In the semi-finals the highest ranked team if the regular season will face the lowest ranked team. The semi-finals will start on the 5th of April. Check the play-off schedule here.

The winner will be decided in one final in Gävle on the 24th of April.
Martin Östholm regular season top scorer
The last rounds of the Men’s SSL were played last weekend and despite the fact that Pixbo missed the play-offs, Martin Östholm, became the top scorer for the first time. The 32-year-old scored 64 points (30 goals + 34 assists). 64 points is Östholm’s career record, but then he has played the majority of his career as a defender and not centre as this year.
