The new Supercup was organised on 2nd-4th of October in Villach. The home team VSV, won against IFL-rival WFV from Vienna and took home the first Supercup victory. 

The new format of Supercup was launched in Austria to start the new season. The last men’s game prior to the Supercup was on March 1st 2020 – which meant a 217-day break from the matches until Supercup. The six best teams were invited, currently three teams playing in the International Floorball League (IFL) and three in the Austrian Bundesliga. The teams were divided into two groups:

Group A: VSV Unihockey (IFL), IC Graz (IFL), TVZ Wikings Zell am See (Bundesliga)

Group B: Wiener Floorball Verein (IFL), KAC Floorball (Bundesliga), VSV Unihockey II (Bundesliga).

The first game was played on Friday between VSV and IC Graz when VSV took a 3-0 win. The rest of the group games were played on Saturday. On Sunday it was time for the semi-finals, third place match and the final. VSV won the first semi-final against KAC 3-2 and Wiener Floorball Verein took home the semi-final against IC Graz 4-2. In the final VSV won 4-2 against WFV.

During the three-day event, 79 goals were scored in 11 matches.
