The winner of the Women’s virtual Superfinal was announced in Czech Republic on Saturday 2nd of May. FbŠ Bohemians became the first virtual Extraleague champion with 2 512 votes. Bohemians are also the double virtual champions winning both the Men’s and Women’s Superfinals.

The virtual champion of the Men’s Superleague was decided already earlier, when FbŠ Bohemians took home the Superfinal against the reigning champion Vitkovice. Now it was time to end the season in the Women’s Extraleague with the virtual voting on Czech Floorball’s Facebook page.

Eight teams from the Women’s Extraleague made it to the play-offs: FBC ČPP OSTRAVA, Panthers Praha, 1. SC TEMPISH Vitkovice, Tatran Střešovice, FAT PIPE FLORBAL CHODOV, FbŠ Bohemians, Ivanti Tigers Jižní Město and K1 Florbal Židenice. In the quarter-finals Panthers Praha took home the win against Ostrava with 1063 votes and Vitkovice beat Tatran with 851 votes. So the first semi-final was decided between Praha and Ostrava. Panthers Praha won the semi-final with 1078 votes against Vitkovice’s 910 votes and advanced to the Superfinal.

In the other quarter-finals, Bohemians took home the win against Chodov with 876 votes and Židenice continued to the semi-final with 875 votes against Tigers. The semi-final between Bohemians and Židenice was an even one and showed that every vote matters. Bohemians continued to the final after winning the virtual semi-final against Zidenice by one vote.

The Superfinal between FbŠ Bohemians and Panthers Praha was even until the last second. Both teams were supported by their fans on social media and finally Bohemians took home the win with 2 512 votes against Panthers’ 2 510 votes.
