Due to the outbreak of COVID-19, all league competitions ended ahead of time also in Czech Republic. To continue the season, the last matches of Men’s Superleague were moved to virtual form on Facebook, where fans could decide the play-off winners and finally the champion by voting with emojis. FbŠ Bohemians and the reigning champion Vitkovice received the most votes in the play-offs and reached the Superfinal. So the final was a duel between Prague and Ostrava.

Bohemians first defeated other teams from the city of Prague, Sparta and Tatran. Against Sparta, Bohemians got 1,320 votes and Sparta 1,231. In the semi-final Bohemians won against Tatran with 1,501 votes, while Tatran got 1,317 votes. In the other play-off pair, Vitkovice won defeated Otrokovice with 921 votes  against 464 votes. In the semi-final they beat the regular season winner Boleslav with 1,554 votes while Boleslav got 1,336 votes.

The virtual Superfinal that began on Friday, was very tight. In the first hours, Vitkovice was in the lead, receiving strong support from their fans in Ostrava. During Saturday morning the roles were changed and Bohemians remained in the lead until the very end of the vote. Behind their victory was their creative content promoting the virtual play-offs voting. Finally Bohemians took home the final with 2,191 votes. Although the virtual play-offs and final do not replace the real floorball battles, it did show the desire of fans to support their team and that desire does not fade even after the end of the season.
