The Finnish Cup finals are played on Saturday in Tallinn, Estonia. This is the first time the cup finals are played outside of Finland. Over 700 tickets have been sold and in addition to Finnish spectators, the fans from Estonia, Latvia and Norway are interested to see the finals.

Women’s Cup final

PSS and SB-Pro are playing in the Women’s Cup final. These are the teams that also played in the Women’s Finnish League finals last season, when SB-Pro won their third championship gold. PSS is the reigning Cup Champion after they beat EräViikingit in the final last year. Both teams are full of experienced and interesting players. Tiltu Siltanen (SB-Pro) is also known as the goalkeeper of the Finnish women’s national team. From PSS, you should follow Ella Holmberg, who is the team’s top scorer at the moment.

Men’s Cup final

In the Men’s final, Classic will face Nokian KrP. Classic is not only the reigning Finnish Champion but also the reigning Cup Champion. Last year’s victory was already fourth for Classic, when they won 3-2 in overtime against Happee. And there are many players to follow also in the men’s final. Joona Rantala (Nokian KrP), is the top scorer of the team and a talented power play specialist. Sami Johansson (Classic) is the top scorer in the Finnish league with his 65 points and he has done 46 goals in 19 matches.

The matches will be streamed live on the IFF YouTube channel. The production company is MindMedia, who has produced the WFC qualifications.
