The International University Sports Federation (FISU) will organise the World University Floorball Championship 2020 in Koper, Slovenia, from the 24th to 28th of June 2020.

The registration for the event is now open and the entry forms must be submitted in the FISU Online Accreditation System according to the procedure laid down by the Organising Committee and must be received six months prior to the event. More information found here

Host city and venue

Koper is a historic city in southwestern Slovenia, with the other Slovenian coastal towns Ankaran, Izola, Piran, and Portorož, situated along the coastline, in the Istrian Region, approximately five kilometres from its border with Italy. Having a unique ecology and biodiversity, it is considered an important national natural resource. The event is organised at the University Sports Association of Primorska that has a rich history of organising international university championships.

The World University Championships for Floorball are held every two years and are open to both men and women according to the criteria set by FISU.
