Women’s international friendly match between Singapore and Philippines was played on Tuesday at Our Tampines Hub in Singapore. The match was part of Philippines’ preparation for the SEA Games that they will be hosting later this year. The AOFC are doing a good job of ‘closing the gap’ between their member countries through good co-operation and shared education.

The start of the match was tight. Hanna-Caren Englund scored the first goal for the Philippines, but Amanda Yeap evened the game when 10 minutes had passed. After that, Singapore took the lead by scoring three more goals to claim the victory. Lina ChuSiti Nurhaliza Khairul Anuar and Farah Weers all scored once and final numbers were 4-1 for Singapore.

Players of the match were Lina Chu (SGP) and Hanna-Caren Englund (PHI).
