Ms. Monika Kraus, 26, has been employed as the IFF Competition Coordinator. She started working for the IFF from the beginning of June. Monika is based in Gdańsk, Poland where she will be working from.

Monika graduated with a degree in International Business Management. During her studies, she spent 6 months on an Erasmus exchange in the Basque Country (Spain) and lived and worked in Ireland for 12 months. Professionally, she started in BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) as first level agent, and progressed very rapidly to become a manager of a team of 30 persons in customer service.

Since the age of 8, she has been a player, goalkeeper, captain and team manager in floorball. She has passed the qualifications to be a floorball referee, which she enjoys very much. She has also worked as an Office Coordinator at the Polish Floorball Federation.

As a Competition Coordinator at IFF, Monika will be responsible for the organisation and management of IFF events. She will be in contact with local organisers and participating teams and IFF transfers.

My life has always been about floorball. I have played since the age of 8 for Olimpia Osowa Gdańsk, 9-time Polish champion, for over 15 years. Linking floorball to management has allowed me to follow up my passion in a professional way. Today, my whole energy is focused on my tasks at IFF, where I wish to contribute to the development of floorball internationally and hope to grow personally with the development of this sport.

Privately she shares her life with her boyfriend Jonatan and 1,5-year-old German Shepherd Lola. She is a fan of Spanish football, loves travelling and long walks with Lola.
