Classic, SPV, Esport Oilers and TPS made it to the men’s semi-finals in Finland. In the women’s league it is now time for the quarter-finals.

Men’s semi-finals

Oilers was the first team to make  it to the semi-finals after winning the series against Happee 4-0. Also Classic and SPV had a pretty easy job to make it to the next round. The tightest quarter-final was TPS versus Nokian KRP, where TPS in the end was the stronger team, winning 4-2 in matches.

The first semi-finals are played on March 27th and the finalists will be decided April 9th (the latest).

Women’s quarter-finals

In the women’s league it is time for the best of five quarter-finals. The quarter-finals will start on Saturday (March 23rd). The semi-final teams will be decided on March 31st (the latest).

PSS – Classic
SSRA – TPS
Koovee – EräViikingit

The Women’s Salibandyliiga will be divided into two separate leagues for the season 2019-20, namely league A and league B. The top eight teams will secure their place in the NLA for the season 2019-20. The two teams, that lost the play-out matches, will play in the NLB, with six other teams coming from the lower divisions. The quarter-finals and semi-finals will be played with a best of five system and the final with a best of seven system. Bronze medals will be decided in a single bronze game.
