The European Masters Games (EMG) is an international multisport event that takes place every four years. This year the event takes place in Torino, Italy between 26th of July and 4th of August. 

The European Masters Games is organised by the International Masters Games Association (IMGA) which is a non-profit organisation. The international sports federations that have their sports as core sports in the World Masters Games programme, are members of IMGA.

The Torino 2019 EMG is open to all athletes around the world. The event wants to promote physical activity and diverse initiatives that enhance the values of sport. Athletes who have turned 30, can participate in the EMG, although different sports have different age groups. The aim is to socialize athletes through sport competitions, cultural activities and entertainment. This year, over 30 different sports are included in the sports programme, floorball being one of the sports. The floorball competition is open for all teams from anywhere in the world, so gather your friends and register your floorball team for the event!

The age categories in floorball are ranging from 35+ to 50+ in the men’s category and in the women’s category the age groups are 30+, 35+ and 40+. Floorball will be played in four different venues, between 31st of July and 3rd of August. The preliminary schedule, which can be subject to changes, is:

Wednesday 31st of July Technical meeting and warm up
Thursday 1st of August Qualification round
Friday 2nd of August Qualification round
Saturday 3rd of August Semifinal and final

The registration for EMG  Torino 2019 is open now and the deadline is 15th of June 2019.
