The National Floorball Championship 2018 was organised between August 10th and 14th at the Olympic Sports Center of Yangzhong, Jiangsu Province, China. The aim with the event was also to develop national floorball talents and to promote floorball on campus.
The championship was organised by the HHBS Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China (GASC) and by the Chinese Hockey Association, and co-organized by the Jiangsu Provincial Sports Bureau and People´s Government of Yangzhong city, Jiangsu Province.
To fully mobilize the resources of all parties to run the Championship, the HHBS Sports Management Center of the GASC and the Chinese Hockey Association attached great importance to the game management. A team was set up and led by Mr. Wang Tao, deputy director of HHBS Sports Management Center.
During the organising committee meeting and the technical meeting held on the evening of 12th August, Mr. Ching Sy Jeng (adviser of Asian and Oceania Floorball Confederation), Mr. Liu Dongwei (Director of Youth Hockey Department of the HHBS Sports Management Center), and Mr. Hu Minsheng (deputy director of the Yangzhong Culture Sports Tourism Bureau) greeted every team.
The National Championship was divided into three groups: U10, U12 and U16, with 10 teams including clubs from Shanghai, Zhejiang and Ningxia. With the efforts of all parties, the event was a great success. On August 13, the teams of each group held the round-robin competitions. In the morning of August 14, the teams played knockout matches and finals.
The awards and closing ceremony were held at noon on August 14. Mr. Ching Sy Jeng (adviser of Asian and Oceania Floorball Confederation), Mr. Chang Benkuan (Director of the Yangzhong Culture Sports Tourism Bureau), and Ms. Feng Li (deputy director of the Yangzhong Education Bureau) and Mr. Guo Xueqi (Level-2 referee certificate holder issued by the International Floorball Federation) attended the closing ceremony and presented prizes to the top 3 teams of each group.

U10 Group
Champion – No. 10 Primary School of Xixia District team
2nd Place – Flying Eagles team of the Shanghai Experimental School
3rd Place – Hangzhou SH World Foreign Language Middle School team
U12 Group
Champion – No. 10 Primary School of Xixia District team
2nd Place – FCP team
3rd Place – United team of the Shanghai Foreign Language School
U16 Group
Champion – LZD team of the Shanghai Foreign Language School
2nd Place – Students team of the Shanghai Experimental School
3rd Place –Zhongyiqiming team
