The Swiss Supercup was played on Saturday 8th of September. Piranha Chur confronted Kloten-Dietlikon Jets in the Women´s match and Floorball Köniz played against SV Wiler-Ersigen in the Men´s final.

In the Women´s match, the start was domination by the Jets, whose first goal was scored by Michelle Wiki, when the game had been played for nine minutes. Andrea Gämperli scored the second goal after 17 minutes, so the situation was 2-0 for the Jets in the end of first period.

It took some time before the Piranha Chur could put their game face on. Jets were leading already with three goals, third scored by Deborah Frei. After this, the Piranha Chur came back to the game with their first goal by Flurina Marti. The second goal for the Chur was scored by Chiara Rentsch and the game had already changed to 2-3. Three more goals were shot in the third period and in the end the numbers were 4-4, which meant extra time for the ladies. Nicole Capatt scored the winning goal for the Piranha Chur, who won the Superfinal title again.

In the Men´s final, the start was even. Miro Lehtinen  took the visitors to the lead, but soon Patrick Doza equalized the situation to 1-1. Marco Rentsch took the SV Wiler-Ersigen back to the lead, but  Doza came to even the situation again in the end of the first period. The only goal in the second period was scored by Jan Zaugg and the Köniz. In the third period, Köniz was first able to increase their lead with the goals from Yann Ruh and DozaPhilipp Affolter was able to beat Köniz´s goalkeeper Patrick Eder once more after 54 minutes, but the last goal of the game was scored by Jan Zaugg, in the last minute. Floorball Köniz won their second Supercup (previous victory in 2016), the final score being 6-3.
