It is an important season for the Czech Men´s league with the World Floorball Championships on home ground in December.

The Men´s league will play their first two games today, on Thursday 6th September. The opening game will start at 19.00 CET, while the other game is starting an hour later. The next four games will be played on Friday 7th. In the men´s league, 14 teams are playing for the trophy, with the last season´s winner Technology Florbal Mlada Boleslav.

One interesting transfer is Martin Tokoš, who moved to Boleslav´s roster from the last season number two, 1. SC Vitkovice. The men´s league is doing well in the Czech Republic and the average attendance is increasing.

The Women´s league starts on Saturday 8th at 20.00 CET. Five more games will follow on Sunday 9th, first starting at 12.30 CET. 12 teams are taking part in the women´s league this season, also SC TEMPISH Vitkovice, who won the women´s Superfinal last year. Vitkovice will though have a hard time defending the championship title, since they have lost their Slovakian key players, Denisa Ferenčíková and Michaela Šponiarova.
