A floorball summer camp for Chinese teenagers, was successfully organised at the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in China between August 5th and 11th, 2018. 

The camp was supported by the Asian and Oceania Floorball Confederation (AOFC). This time, a total of 54 Floorball teenagers from different regions and schools participated in the summer camp, which was divided into groups of U10, U12 and U16, with the strong support from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and the LZD Teenager Floorball Club.

The head coaches of the camp were Christer Olsson (former coach of Swedish National Floorball Team), Kenneth Koh Boon Hock (head coach of the Thai National Floorball Team and the U19 National Floorball Team, who was appointed by the AOFC), Yuan Yong (coach of the China National Floorball Team) and Ms. Pan Xiufen (coach of the China U19 National Floorball Preparation Team). Coach assistants included Erik Olsson (instructor of a Swedish Uppsala floorball summer camp), Zhang Wenyu (player of the China National Floorball Team), Maimaitijiang Mutalifu (player of the China National Floorball Team), Ma Xinyang, Sun Yi and Zhao Guojun.

Despite of the high temperatures in Shanghai, the players were training hard. Under the guidance of coaches, all players overcame the high temperature and actively completed intensive training. Through this camp, not only the floorball skills of the teenagers were developed but now, the players also understand the spirit of hard work and teamwork.
