International floorball legend Tomas Kafka (CZE) has decided to end his career as a player.

Czech goalkeeper legend Tomas Kafka has decided to put his helmet on the shelf. The 39-year-old goalie has been part of the Czech national team for many years. He played his first Men’s WFC in 2000 and was still part of the team in WFC Riga 2016. In the WFCs, he has won two bronze medals and one silver.
Kafka played 23 seasons and 520 matches in the Czech national league and also made 28 assists. He has won the Czech title 12 times with Tatran Stresovice and was elected as the best Czech goalkeeper 10 times.

– I’m turning forty in a couple of months and it’s time to devote myself to my wife and my family.
