CUF Leganes won the Spanish Women’s Championships that were held last weekend.

The national Women’s Championships were played in Sanchinarro, Spain 7th-8th of April. All in all, four teams participated. In the semi-finals, that were played on Saturday, Floorball Escorial faced UHK Madrid and CDE Valle played against CUF Leganes.

Both matches were an even fight and the spectators supported their teams with loud cheers. In the end, Floorball Escorial and CUF Leganes won the tight matches and made their way into the Final.
On Sunday the medal matches were played. CDE Valle won bronze and UHK Madrid had to settle for fourth place. The eventful final was full of scoring chances. CUF Leganes scored the winning goal with five minutes left on the clock and took home the title.
