The semi-final pairs are set in the Czech top league and the first matches will be played at the end of next week.

The top two teams of the Men’s regular season, Boleslav and Chodov, made their way to the Tipsport Superliga semi-finals with four straight victories. Boleslav won against Pardubice rather effortlessly whereas Chodov faced small challenges against Otrokovice but were triumphant in the end. Tatran won the first match against Vitkovice by six goals, but after that the battles were even and went to overtime. Vitkovice who came third in the regular season were stronger and won four matches in a row. Bohemians and Sparta had even battles during the regular season and the play-offs were no exception. However, after their first victory, Bohemians were defeated four times in a row and Sparta made it to the next round.

Semi-final pairs:
Boleslav – Sparta
Chodov – Vitkovice

The first semi-final matches will be played 31st of March and will be played with a best of seven system.

The top four of the Women’s regular season made their way to the Extraliga Zeny semi-finals with four wins in a row. Vitkovice, who won the regular season, won against Bohemians with flying colours. Panthers Praha weren’t able to challenge reigning champions FK Jizni Mesto and Chodov destroyed FBK Jicin with a +33 goal difference in the four matches. Though one of the matches went into overtime, Ostrava didn’t loose a single match to Liberec and also claimed their spot in the semis.

Vitkovice – Ostrava
FK Jizni Mesto – Chodov

Like in the Men’s, the Women’s semi-finals will be played with a best of seven system and the first matches will take place at the end of next week.
