In both the Men’s Top League Tipsport Superliga and Women’s Top League Extraliga Zen the play-offs kick off 10th of March.

Tipsport Superliga
Men’s last season’s finalists played an impressive regular season. Boleslav won the regular season with 68 points but only one point behind them are the reigning champions Chodov. Vitkovice, who just won the cup final against Boleslav in January, are third with 64 points but the rest are far behind.
Usti had an unfortunate season as they only got 15 points and will be facing the play-outs with other bottom four teams. The top eight teams will play in the play-offs and the season ends for Ostrava and Ceska Lipa who came 9th and 10th.

Play-Off pairs:
Boleslav – Pardubice
Chodov – Otrokovice
Vitkovice – Tatran
Bohemians – Sparta

In the Czech league the matches are usually played on the weekend and play-offs are no exception. The first two rounds will be played on Saturday and Sunday. A team needs four victories to make it to the next round.

Extraliga Zen
In the Women’s league, current silver medallists and cup winners Vitkovice took the first place with 60 points though FK Jizni Mesto share the same amount of points. Four points behind are Chodov, who were defeated in the cup final by Vitkovice.
Vinohrady came last with 9 points and a devastating -134 goal difference. Together with the last four teams, they are facing the play-outs whereas the top eight will play in the play-offs.

Play-Off pairs:
Vitkovice – Bohemians
FK Jizni Mesto – Panthers Praha
Chodov – FBK Jicin
Ostrava – Liberec

Like in the Men’s, the Women’s play-offs will begin on Saturday and are played with a best of seven system.
