The time schedule before the WFCQ is tight and Arto Riihimäki is very excited looking forward to the new challenge:
– I had already thought about coaching a good national team for couple of years. And not only coaching the national team, but also trying to help the country´s floorball development overall. So, when Latvian Floorball Union approached me, I was immediately interested. We are going to make big changes to the national team´s game. Latvia is well-known for its good counter attacking play, however we want to see Team Latvia take more proactive approach playing with and without the ball. Of course, we won´t forget the things what Latvia has been doing well – they serve as a good foundation. We will do our very best for Latvian Men´s National team and the whole Latvian floorball community.
