The World Games Floorball tournament held its Opening Ceremony before the evening match where the home team Poland faced the reigning World Champions Finland.

The Wroclaw Organising Committee (WOC) President Mr. Marcin Przychodny opened up the tournament by welcoming all teams to The World Games and wished them the best of luck for the tournament. His speech was followed by the IFF President Mr. Tomas Eriksson who stressed that this is a great possiblity for floorball and we should all use the opportunity the best way possible.
