The Swedish Superfinal, like the Finnish and the Swiss Superfinal, will be played this Saturday. The Women’s final starts at 12:15 and the Men’s final at 15:15. The Superfinal takes place at Ericsson Globe in Stockholm.

Men´s Superfinal
Växjö IBK were the first to make their way to the Superfinal. They got their four victories against Mullsjö AIS within five matches (6-3, 5-9, 4-3, 6-4, 6-5). Regular season winner Falun and the reigning champions Storvreta IBK played for the other place in the Superfinal. Falun were clearly more efficient, meaning that Sweden will have a new champion this year (6-1, 7-8 ot., 7-2, 7-4, 11-3).

Superfinal:
IBF Falun – Växjö IBK

History:
Falun has won the title three times in a row since season 2012-13 whereas for Växjö IBK this would be the first title. During the regular season the teams met twice and Växjö were more efficient. They won both matches, first 9-6 and the second 10-4.

Women´s Superfinal
IKSU took down the reigning champions Pixbo Wallenstam IBK in the semi-finals. IKSU got their third victory in the fourth match (6-2, 4-2, 4-5, 3-2 ot.) Täby FC IBK gave trouble to Kais Mora IF, but the current silver medallist won the decisive fifth match and will once again be seen in the Superfinal (4-2, 3-5, 4-2, 2-3, 8-2).

Superfinal:
IKSU – Kais Mora IF

History:
IKSU had a record breaking regular season in the SSL as they gained 74 points. Even though Kais Mora IF came second, they were already 16 points behind. During the regular season the finalists met twice. IKSU won the first match 11-8 and were also able to win the second match with number 5-4 on overtime. Kais Mora IF’s last title is from season 2014-15 and IKSU’s is from season 2011-12.
