CDE Valle celebrates the Women’s Championship title for the second time in a row.
The Spanish Women’s National Championships were played last weekend in Sanchinarro, Madrid. First were the semi-finals where CUF Las Rozas faced CUF Leganes and CDE Valle faced Floorball Escorial. In the first semi-final match between CUF Las Rozas and CUF Leganes, CUF Las Rozas were stronger and made their way to the final for the first time in history. In the second semi-final, last year’s champions CDE Valle defeated Floorball Escorial 3-2, and also proceeded to the Final.
The medal matches were played on Sunday. In the tight Bronze match, Floorball Escorial scored the winning goal on overtime and took the third place. In the final, CDE Valle took a clear 5-1 victory against CUF Las Rozas and became champions for the second time in a row.
