Switzerland ended their tournament with a big win. Netherlands fell asleep at the start of the match against Estonia, which might have cost them their victory.


It didn´t take long for Switzerland to score their first goal against Austria. Only 19 seconds on the clock Andrea Gamperli made a beautiful pass across the offensive zone to Flurina Marti who scored with a powerful shot. All in all Switzerland scored ten goals in the first period and were on a strong lead. The second period was also dominated by the Swiss whereas Austria struggled to get any scoring chances. After the second period the score was already 17-0 for Switzerland. In the third period the match stayed the same, though Austria got a few scoring chances. Switzerland hold the ball most of the match and kept on scoring. Even though Austria lost the match 28-0, their spirit was not broken. Whenever they got the ball during the match they cheered for their own and kept their heads held high.

Netherlands played against Estonia in the second match of the day in WFCQ EUR 3. Netherlands wasn´t on the top of their game in the start. Estonia surprised by scoring three goals in few minutes. Netherlands took a timeout, and continued the match as a new team. Even though Netherlands was playing better, Estonia was still able to score two more goals and were in a strong 5-0 lead after the first period. Only two goals were seen in the second period, one for each team. At the start of the third period, the ball bounced in front of Estonia´s goal and Netherlands used the chance to put it in. Now Netherlands was 4 goals behind. Estonia had more goal scoring chances, but most of them were blocked by the Dutch goalkeeper. In the end, Estonia won the match 7-2.
