A newly built arena’s roof collapsed during a floorball game in the city of Ceska Trebova.

A floorball tournament for selected juniors from Prague and Ostrava was played in Ceska Trebova, Czech Republic and one of the matches got a dramatic ending. The roof of the newly built sports arena started to collapse during Saturday´s last game. Since it was the last match of the day, there were also some spectators in the arena, but luckily there were only minor injuries which occurred when the people were running out of the arena. Only seconds later when all had left the building, the roof collapsed entirely.
The floorball tournament was one of the first events in the arena that was just opened a few weeks earlier. The local police are investigating the cause of the accident, which is still unclear.
