Swedish Floorball Federation held an integration conference in Stockholm on Thursday 20th of October. Floorball enthusiasts from all over Sweden gathered and discussed what is the best way to help.
Several people gathered together yesterday at Quality Hotel Globe in Stockholm. Among other things, Rädda Barnen (Save the Children) described their projects that they have with the Swedish Floorball Federation, Somalian Yahye Yousef talked about his experience of integrating to the Swedish society and Helen Jaeaschke-Pellonpää told about Tierp IBK´s integration projects.
– I have been impressed, above all, I have seen many dedicated people who work with similar things I´ve done. I get a lot of energy and see things from different angles. It´s great that so many have come to listen to others, says FC Helsingborg’s Loviisa Engstrom who is responsible for an integration project in the club.
Interviews (in Swedish) can be watched on Swedish Floorball Federation’s Facebook page. The participants talk about their impressions and thoughts about integration.
