EFC2016 tournament continued today with FBK Kometa and Saint Petersburg United playing against each other. Slovakian Kometa was the more active side and got the victory from the Russians with quite big numbers.

FBK Kometa’s Kristina Hudakova started the game by scoring a quick goal after 22 seconds. Her sister Paulina Hudakova added the lead to 2-0 on powerplay at 04:59. Iuliia Komova decreased the score, but Klara Grossova scored 3-1 at 17:12. In the last minute of first period Liubov Serebriakova scored a beautiful goal with a smart move in front of the goal. The first intermission took place in situation 3-2 for FBK Kometa.

The second period started with FBK Kometa’s powerplay since SPB United came to the field too late. Kristina Hudakova scored when there was 21:09 on the clock. With Klara Grossova scoring twice and Miriam Bukova once Kometa led already 7-2. Again, only a minute before the intermission, the Russian side managed to decrease the score by Olga Prosvetova. She scored after a beautiful passing combination straight from the faceoff.

The last 20 minutes were totally under control of the Slovakian side. Kometa tired the Petersburg group and scored eight goals. SPB United scored three times so the end result was 15-6.

Kometa’s Paulina Hudakova scored 2+3 and Kristina Hudakova did five goals. The most effective player of SPB United was Liubov Serebriakova with points 1+2. Olga Prosvetova scored twice.
