Czech Floorball Open 2016

Thousands of floorball players will play in the Czech Floorball Open 2016 which starts today (Thursday August 11th) in Prague. The finals will be played on Sunday August 14th.

There are six different categories (juniors, women open, women elite, men open, men pro and men elite) and a record-breaking number of teams, 273 teams from 19 different countries, will play in this year´s event.

Top teams like Pixbo and Falun from Sweden and the a newly founded fusion team EräViikingit from Finland will enter the event. Except for the traditional unforgettable tournament there are additional activities outside the rinks.

There are 16 teams divided into four groups representing six different countries in the men´s elite tournament.

In the women´s top category the 12 teams are divided into two groups. In addition to the Czech teams there will be teams from Norway, Slovakia, Sweden and Switzerland taking part.
