The U19 World Champion Ville Lastikka is going to play for the Swiss team SV Wiler-Ersigen next season.

The Finnish forward Ville Lastikka will be transferring to SV Wiler-Ersigen (SUI). Lastikka is transferring from Steelers that will play in the Finnish Top League next season. The 20-year-old Lastikka was one of the players that took Finland to Gold in the 2015 U19 WFC and was also the top scorer of the tournament.

Lastikka is known for being an efficient scorer, since he has been the top scorer in the Finnish first division (second highest level) the past two seasons. Many clubs in Finland wanted to recruit the young talent, but Wiler became his first choice:
– I know that Wiler is the leading floorball club in Switzerland and one of the best teams in the world. The group is experienced and strong. In Finland they will probably follow how many goals I make, but I want to help Wiler as a versatile player, says Lastikka.
