The Danish Floorball Union (DaFU) have changed their name to Floorball Danmark and also renewed their logo. They have also published a promotional video of MotionsFloorball for elderly.

DaFu are now known as Floorball Danmark. They said they wanted to make the federation more modern, and changing the name was one of the things on the list. Another new thing is a new Floorball Danmark logo, and the new look will be implemented gradually.

Floorball has been proven to be effective training for the elderly. Approximately a year ago a research was published by Center for Holdspil og Sundhed (CHS) at Copenhagen University. Now Floorball Danmark have released a promotional video about recreational floorball for the elderly, MotionsFloorball, as part of their development project.

MotionsFloorball is played in a small rink with 3 vs 3 or 4 vs 4. It not only improves the physical condition, but brings joy to the players and creates new friendships.
– People wouldn’t think it would be this fun to run after a small ball at my age, 75 years old. Even I didn’t foresee it. After I started to play floorball, I feel 10-15 years younger, says one of the players Finn Taul and continues:
MotionsFloorball has created a brotherhood between me and people I didn´t know before. Imagine getting 21 new friends at my age. You do not expect that to happen.
