During the first World Floorball Championships ever played in North America three new spectator records were made.

The following records were broken during the Women´s U19 World Floorball Championships 2016 played in Belleville, Canada, May 4th – 8th:

Spectators in a single game
3 151 spectators watched the first match of the tournament, the B-division game Canada versus Japan, on May 4th. ​This is a new record for both the Women´s U19 WFC and the Men´s U19 WFC. The previous record, 2 532 spectators, was made in the Men’s U19 WFC 2009 in Turku, Finland, in the Final game between Finland and Sweden.

Overall number of spectators
There were 15 799 spectators in 33 matches at the Women´s U19 WFC 2016, which is a new WU19 WFC record. The previous Women´s U19 WFC record was 11 725 spectators from the WU19 WFC 2014 played in Zbaszyn, Poland. The Men’s U19 WFC total attendance record was not broken, as it is 16 477 spectators from the Men´s U19 WFC 2013 played in Hamburg, Germany.

Average number of spectators per game
There were 479 spectators per game at the Women´s U19 WFC 2016 and this is a new record for both the Women´s U19 WFC and the Men´ U19 WFC. The previous WU19 WFC record, 419 spectators, is from Poland (2014) and the previous MU19 WFC record, 458 spectators, is from Germany (2013).
