Playoffs are on a roll in Italy and the semi-finals are played this weekend.

Floorball L’Aquila is the reigning champion of the Italian league and also an absolute favourite. They have not lost a match in the league since April 2014.
There are two teams from Bolzano: FBC Bozen and SSV Diamante Bozen. These two teams will face each other in the semi-final. It’s going to be an emotional derby.
SV Sterzing made its way to the semi-final, but is an underdog since it’s facing Floorball L’Aquila.
UF Gargazon Liftex and ASC Algund both made it to playoffs, but didn’t make it to the next round.
The playoffs are played as follows: quarter-finals and semi-finals are played as double matches where the total score is counted. In case the total amount is equal after the two games, the match will go to overtime and after that to penalty shots. The final is played as a single match.
The quarter-finals were played this weekend with the following results.
SSV Diamante Bozen – ASC Algund 8-4
SSV Diamante Bozen – ASC Algund 5-4
SSV Diamante Bozen proceeded to the next round with a total score 13-8.
SV Sterzing – UF Gargazon Liftex 4-3
SV Sterzing – UF Gargazon Liftex 4-3
SV Sterzing proceeded to the next round with a total score 8-6.
Semi-finals will be played 2-3.4. Semi-final pairs:
Floorball L´Aquila – SV Sterzing
FBC Bozen – SSV Diamante Bozen
The final match will be played 16-17.4.
