The IFF Referee Committee has in its meeting in Copenhagen on the 27th of February nominated the referees and the observers for the upcoming WU19 WFC 2016, which will be played in Belleville in Canada from the 4th to 8th of May.

– This is the first time we play a tournament this size in North America and for us this is naturally a very good opportunity also to promote our referee work locally in North America and especially in Canada, says Mr. Klaus Koskela, the chairman of the IFF RC.

–We are also very proud that we can have a Canadian referee pair in the tournament and this way we can show that we also have capable referees in Americas, not just only in Asia and Europe, he concludes.

The head of the referees will be Mr. Mats Öster from Sweden and the observers are Ms. Marjo Alanko from Finland and Mr. Radek Hora from Czech Republic.
