The Finnish Floorball Federation has reported that the number of licensed floorball players in Finland continues to grow.

On the last day of year 2015 the number of licensed players was 53 227. This is an increase of 3 137 licenses and 6,3 % more than in 2014.

The same positive development is also to be seen in other statistics. The number of teams that took part in the Finnish Floorball Federation´s series was 2 932, compared to 2 788 in 2014, which is a 5,2 % increase.

Another very positive factor during the season 2015-16 is the increased interest in the referee activity, which has been one of the challenges in previous years.

The number of licensed players in Finland has increased every year during the Finnish Floorball Federation´s 30 year history. The statistics are from the Finnish Floorball Federations license registers.

The IFF will publish the updated statistics received from all Member Associations during February 2016.
