ETV Hamburg won the Cup final against UHC Sparkasse Weißenfels 5-3 and are the Cup winners in 2010.
Surprisingly ETV Hamburg defeated the reigning national champion, UHC Sparkasse Weissenfels, in the final and Sparkasse was left without the double in 2009/2010.
The first twenty minutes ended with a goalless draw. There were numerous scoring chances in the second period, but only one goal was scored, in the 34th minute by UHC Sparkasse Weissenfels´ Sebastian Bernieck.
Even in the final third the game was still open. Both teams played a fast-paced floorball and both goalies saved many scoring opportunities.
In the 53th minute, Marco Neumann evened the score to 1-1 and only ninety seconds later it was Neumann again, who shot ETV Hamburg to a 2-1 lead. Five minutes before the end Thomas Händler evened to 2-2.
About two minutes later Händler scored his 2nd and took Weißenfelser again to a one goal lead. Then ETV Hamburg played a sensational final minute. Björn Kappel scored the 3-3 equalizer just 33 seconds before the end of the game and 14 seconds later Hamburg cheered again when Johan Nilsson scored the 4-3 lead for ETV Hamburg. Neumann´s hat trick goal only two seconds before the final whistle became the last goal of the match.
Over 600 spectators in the Final 4 Event 2010
The Final4 event 2010 was a great success with a lot of tournament and events during the weekend:
- 30 teams from all german regions played for the Final4Talentepokal.
- special olympics demonstration match with teams from Hamburg and Halle
- 36 Teams played the final4nacht, the party-tournament – at all 500 persons played and celebrated the whole night
- over 600 spectators

The German Floorball Association President, Mr. Oliver Stoll, was very please with the event:
– The final4 shows that there is something going on in Germany. I`m very proud that the final4 could be established as a high-class floorball event with its own spirit.
