Hungary had won each match in the B-division so far and the B-division Final was no exception.
Hungary won the B-final with a quite clear margin 5-1 which means that Hungary is promoted to the A-division for the next WU19 Championships played in 2012.
Hungary was leading with 2-1 after the first period but in the 2nd period Nóra Suszták´s and Veronika Szarvas´ (pictured) cooperation was brilliant and the duo took Hungary to a safe 4-1 lead. The duo finalised the score to 5-1 in the third period, Suszták scoring a hat trick and Szarvas giving three assists.
When the Hungarian goalkeeper, Enikö Kárpáti, also played a great match in the goal Russia was not able to score more than once during the match.
The only goal scorer for Russia, Zoya Ovchinnikova and the Hungarian goalkeeper Kárpáti were awarded as the best players. Suszták was the most effective player with 3+1.
