The 8th Women´s World Floorball Championships will be played in St. Gallen, Switzerland from the 3rd to 11th of December 2011.

The main arena will be the modern and multifunctional Athletics Center and the second arena will be the Sport arena Kreuzbleiche.

In 2011 there will be 16 teams in four groups playing in the WFC Final round. 24 teams have registered for the 2011 Championships and eight teams, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Czech Republic, Russia, Latvia, Norway and Australia, are directly qualified for the WFC Final round.

The remaining eight spots are decided in regional qualifications in Europe, Asia and America in February 2011. All registered teams are found here.

2nd time in Switzerland

This is the 2nd time that the Women´s WFC is played in Switzerland. The previous time was in 2003 when the Women´s WFC was played in Bern, Gümligen and Wünnewil
