There was a total of 570 doping tests conducted in Floorball in 2009. 52 tests were conducted in the IFF events (Women´s WFC, Men´s U19 WFC and the EFC) in addition to 19 out of competition tests conducted by the IFF.
The IFF Member Associations also annually report the national level doping control activities to the IFF. In 2009 there were 212 in competition tests and 287 out of competition test reported by the IFF member associations. In 2008 the number of in competition tests was 211 and there were 341 out of competition tests done.
There is a decrease in the total number of tests conducted in Floorball when compared to 2008. In 2008 there were a total of 654 tests conducted. There were exceptionally two EFC´s organised in 2008 in addition to the World University Championsips which explains the decrease a bit.

In 2009 there were no Anti-doping Rule violations in Floorball. There was one Adverse Analytical Finding (AAF) reported by the IFF Member Associations but the case was closed as a result of a valid TUE (Therapeutic Use Exemption). In addition there were two T/E ratios > 4 (Testosterone/Epitestosterone) but of physiological origin.
