The Asian and Oceanian Floorball Confederation held their General Assembly on the 5th of February in Singapore. Mr. Stephen King, who is a member of the IFF Central Board was elected as the new President of the AOFC and also other elections were made during the meeting.

Secretary General: Pierre Boudville (Singapore)

During the meeting Indonesia and New Zealand were accepted as new members of the AOFC. It was also decided that the IFF office is to assist with the AOFC office and an agreement was reached for the IFF office to provide some office support to the AOFC in order to assist with the ongoing development in the AOFC region.

 

AOFC CB Meeting

The AOFC CB Meeting was held after the General Assembly and a new Development and Marketing Sub Committee was established, which is to comprise Mr. Stephen King and Mr. Andreas Tedjasukmana. The AOFC RACC will comprise of Mr. Sani Mohd Salim and Mr. Pierre Boudville.

Mr. Stephen King will develop together with the IFF office a development and action plan for the balance of this year. The plan is to be submitted to the AOFC CB for approval once ready in the next 2 months and a draft marketing/partnership package is being prepared for distribution to CB members in the next month.

The plan is also to organise an IFF Development Seminar in Indonesia in October 2010 in conjunction with AOFC and it was agreed to invite Phillipines and Sri Lanka to attend and any other AOFC member or potential member in the region.
