The 7th Presidential meeting was held during the Women´s World Floorball Championships in Sweden on the 12th of December 2009. The Presidents and Secretary Generals of the national associations gathered in Västerås to discuss the development of Floorball and the IFF Member Associations´ needs in the future.
First the Key Development points since the General Assembly in Prague 2008 were presented and then the focus turned to the IFF Member Associations needs. The results from the IFF information survey were presented and then the participants were divided into work groups to discuss the following topics:
1. What services do you think IFF should provide to our member associations?
2. Are there any new kind of tasks or ideas you could have, which IFF could invest in, in order to support its members better?
3. How can your association better help the IFF?
In addition the new License System and the Key information points regarding Anti-Doping news, IFF Development program, Future of EuroFloorball Cup and the New IFF materials and the IFF events were presented.

Key note speaker, Mr. Jan Fransoo, President of ARISF
The President of the IOC Recognised Sports Federations (ARISF) was invited as a key note speaker. Mr. Fransoo´s presentation included information concerning the present organisation of the international sports world as well as the requirements for entering Multisport events in the future. Mr. Fransoo also presented the ARISF Main priorities for 2009-2012, which are:
- Improve recognition opportunities of Recognized Sports by National Olympic Committees
- Further increase flexibility of the Olympic Program
- Strengthen discussion on disciplines
- Reduce the financial gap
