The effective end of the first period secured the victory for Germany over Singapore. The German team scored three goals in four minutes and two of them were shot by Judith Burmester.

Huei Pin Debbie Poh  reduced  the lead to 3-1 in the second period, but the final score was 4-1 to Germany.

Therefore Germany took the 13th place while Singapore was placed 14th in the tournament. Burmeister and Hui Hui Ong were awarded as the best players.
