Hungary won the B-division semi-final against Singapore with 5-2 and will play in the B-division Final tomorrow at 21:00.

Nicole Vértesi´s goal was the only goal in the first period, but in the beginning of the second period Hui Hui Ong evened the score to 1-1. After Jill Quek´s missed penalty shot Hungary had their momentum and scored two goals before the intermission.

In the third period it was Brigitta Radácsi´s turn to miss a penalty shot opportunity, but she could utilize her next chance and the score was already 4-1 to Hungary. When Veronika Szarvas broke free from the Singaporean defence the match seemed to be settled.

The Singaporeans pressured in the end of the match and could score one goal, but the rest of the chances were saved by Szilvia Sári. The Hungarians could celebrate the 5-2 victory and a place in the B-division semi-final with their “Time for the game” victory dances.

Veronice Szarva # 10 was very happy for the place in the Final.

– We played a good game today as a team and I hope that we will meet Germany in tomorrow´s final because we lost to them in the group match.
