Natalie Stadelmann the Swiss national team forward, is the second female player in addition to Hermine Dahlerus to play her 100. International match. Stadelmann´s 100th match will be played against Finland today at 19.15.
Natalie Stadelmann made her national team debut in the 6th of February 1998 and her first international point she scored against Germany in 1999. Stadelmann played her first World Championships the same year in Borlänge (Sweden) and has played in every World Championships since, so these championships are the 6th WFC in a row for Stadelmann.
4 WFC and 10 EFC medals & 10 National Championship titels and 6 National Cup victories.
Stadelmann herself is focusing more on the important match starting at 19.15 tonight.
– It is nice to reach this boundary mark, but of course today´s match is more important as our aim is to win the group.
– I actually have no memories about my national team debut and the first international anymore, Stadelmann explains.
Stadelmann’s career in numbers:
• 1 WFC Gold (2005), 2 WFC Silvers (1999 and 2003) and 1 Bronze from 2007
• 2 EFC golds and 1 silver and 2 bronze medals with UHC Dietlikon and Five EuroFloorball Cup silver medals with the Winterthur team.
• In 99 internationals she has gathered 65 points (37 + 27)
• National league debut in 1995/96 and has collected 6 gols medals and 3 Swiss Cup victories with the team from Winterthur. With UHC Dietlikon she has won the Swiss Championships 4 times and the Cup 3 times.
– No other Swiss female player has experienced as much international experience and success as Natalie, the Swiss national team captain, Simone Berner, points out.
