This Tuesday, the 25th of August, will mark a historic milestone in Slovenian Floorball as the final game of international tournament Slo Open 2009 will be shown in it´s entirely in the prime time slot (20:30) on the Slovenian premier sports television Sport TV (www.sport-tv.si).

The final of the SLO Open was a tight match between Kings Praha and Floorball Sense, ending in a 5-4 victory for Kings Praha. Read more about the Slo Open 2009 from here. The fina game will be shown again on Wednesday, 26th August at 15:00.

This is a first time in history that an floorball event will be shown on a Slovenian TV and the Slovenian Floorbal Association certainly hopes that the ratings will show that there is a lot of interest for this attractive sport, opening doors for further being events televised.

The Slovenian Floorball Association would like to congratulate and thank the organizers of the tournament FBK Ljubljana and especially Mr. Blaž Lasič and Mr. Janez Jugovic from Floorball Oprema company, for making this possible.
