Phoenix Fireball SE secured their first national championship victory although the season still continues. With enough points ahead of last season´s champion Szolnok Cannibals and the second placed team SZPK-Nokia, the young and enthusiastic Phoenix Fireball players can celebrate their first victory.

The fight for the silver medal still continues

Phoenix secured the gold medal but the second and third placed teams are still fighting for the silver. Currently SZPK-Nokia is second with 21 points and all 14 matches played, but the third placed team, Szolnok Cannibals, have  can still reach the second place, as they have two matches less played and 18 points at the moment.

The national champion, Phoenix Fireball SE, is a team from Budapest and has started to train seriously two years ago and now many players have reached the Hungarian national team. The head coach of Phoenix Fireball SE, Zsuzsanna Varsányi, is also the head coach of the Hungarian Women´s national team.

The top scorer of the Women´s league is Brigitta Radácsi from Phoenix Fireball SE with 73 points.

The following challenge for the young team is the Hungarian Cup final, where they meet the last year´s Champion Szolnoc Cannibals. It is played on 6th June in Komarno, Slovakia.
